  • Jason R. Testa - COO & Chairman

    Jason holds an MBA from Drexel University and has nearly 30 years of service in the U.S. Marines. He currently works for a Department of Defense support contractor, managing large-scale ($500M+) programs and engaging with federal stakeholders—skills he also brings to his role at Treasured Pets.

  • George J. "Gino" Bianchi - CEO & Vice Chairman

    George holds a Master of Management from the University of Phoenix and has led multiple successful for-profit ventures. With experience in both mid- and senior-level roles at major firms, he brings broad expertise in business operations and technologies ranging from data compression to polymers and computing.

  • Anthony J. Laughlin - CCO & Director

    Anthony is the Chief Compliance Officer at Treasured Pets. A retired Pinellas County deputy, he served 20 years, including 12 years as Florida’s lead sniper on county and state SWAT teams. He has also collaborated with federal agencies like the FBI, ATF, and DEA.

  • Mahmud Ahmed - Volunteer Coordinator

    Mahmud Ahmed, based in Kano, Nigeria, holds a B.S. in Business Administration and is pursuing a Master’s in International Relations. With over 8 years in the nonprofit sector, he has served as HR Coordinator, Director of Volunteer Services, and HR Manager across five U.S. nonprofits.

  • Kimberly Backman - General Counsel

    Kim is an attorney dedicated to fighting for the rights of our treasured furry family members. She graduated summa cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School with a Master of Laws in Animal Law and holds a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law. As founder of LeBac Law, P.C., Kim brings compassion, expertise, and a strong commitment to the animal welfare nonprofit sector.

  • Elizabeth (Liz) Silberman - Advocacy Committee Chair

    Liz is VP of Operations at PUPS Pet Club, an all-inclusive canine resort and spa. She previously spent five years as a Store Leader and Regional Pet Training Instructor at PetSmart. Liz holds several certifications, including CBCC-KA Certified Behavior Consultant—Canine, FEMA Animal Emergency Certification, and Sniffspot’s 2023 Best Positive Reinforcement Dog Trainer for Illinois and Chicago.

  • John Michael Kennedy - Director of Business Development

    Mike is a results-driven business development and sales professional with over 50 years of executive experience in marketing complex solutions. He has a strong track record of driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth and providing visionary leadership. Mike is also an exceptional mentor, skilled at building and retaining top-performing teams.

  • Steve Stroud - Director of Strategy and Innovation

    Steve is CEO/COO of the Bohemian Group and Executive VP/PMO of Smith Micro Inc. He has managed major projects for top clients including the cities of Phoenix and New York, AT&T, Verizon, and Eli Lilly. Steve founded and grew Bohemian Group to $31M with 72 staff before merging with five firms across four states, leading enterprise initiatives with IBM, SAP, Oracle, and Amadeus.

  • Frank Krebs - Secretary & Compliance Director

    Frank has over 40 years of management experience, including 20 years as a Contracts Program Manager with the U.S. Department of Education, where he helped secure the first competitive, performance-based government contractor award. After retiring, he worked with federal contractors like Raytheon, General Dynamics, and Xerox. He now works for a consulting firm in Florida and serves as a customer service leader for the Tampa Bay Rays.

  • Scott N. Feinberg - CFO & Treasurer

    Scott earned a Master of Science in Finance from Georgetown University and studied at institutions including Bentley University, RMIT, and the Investment Banking Institute NY. He has held senior roles at Royal Bank of Scotland, Mizuho Securities, and Capital One Securities, where he served as Vice President of Equity Capital Markets. Most recently, he was Executive Director at Nomura Securities. In 2023, Scott founded Capital Advisors, supporting companies with fundraising, marketing, and investor relations.

  • Dr. Michael Tajmir DVM

    Dr. Michael Tajmir earned his veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed his clinical year at the University of Florida. He began his career in emergency medicine before transitioning to general practice, serving communities across Florida for over eight years. His interests include internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, dermatology, and ophthalmology. Treasured Pets is proud to partner with Dr. Tajmir and East Coast Animal Hospital.
